Toretto

Our Wonkey Donkey

We acquired Toretto from a local family here in Clover. A mutual friend told the family what we were trying to start up here at the farm and thought he would be a good fit. Toretto LOVES to play. He is our jokester and will always get into trouble. He likes carrying stuff in his mouth and runs off with it, picks little spats with the other miniature horses, and is really the main protector of the farm. Toretto will chase after coyotes, and foxes and will sound an alarm if something isn’t right. He enjoys his ears being petted but doesn’t like his feet touched. We are so Lucky we were able to get Toretto and let him be the jokester that he is.Honey our Jersey Cow: She was very malnourished when we found her. I was looking for a sweet dairy cow that wanted to be by herself. I went with a friend several times to look at Honey to make sure she was going to be a good fit for the farm and we just couldn’t leave her there. Honey ended up having a calf shortly after the arrangement was made to buy her and she continued to struggle with gaining weight. With our Vet’s help, we finally got Honey back on track and she is now a healthy and happy girl. We are hoping for her to have another beef cross calf for us this fall. Honey is so sweet and loves to be brushed.
